Assistant Manager
  • Manage labor and food cost budgets

  • Hire and maintain an active and productive sales force

  • Create a biweekly labor schedule that keeps the shop properly staffed

  • Work closely with vendors to order food and paper goods within weekly budget

  • Hire, train and supervise Wild Grapes personnel

  • Prefer 1-2 years of management/supervision experience

  • Must work well under minimal supervision.

  • Monitoring inventory

  • Be physically able to work 8-10 hour day while on your feet.

  • Food Serve Safe Certificate – Required to have certification within 30 days of employment.

 

 

 

 
Shift leaders
  • Responsible for managing tasks as delegated by the General Manager and Assistant Manager for his/her assigned shift.

  • Maintains the front store and monitors store operations for his/her assigned shift.

  • Responsible for opening or closing the store in accordance with assigned shift.

  • Ensures that staff is uniformed and maintain a professional image.

  • Assigns tasks to employees on shift.

  • Calls replacements in the event of call-off or no call no show.

  • Engages customers to make sure that they are satisfied with service and products offered.

  • Manages cash intake, counting in and out of registers at regular intervals and tabulating profit at the end of the shift.

  • Makes sure that the store is clean and presentable at the start and end of each shift.

  • Food Serve Safe Certificate – Required to have certification within 30 days of employment.

 

 

 

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean equipment and work areas to Wild Grapes Standards

  • Stock supplies on an ongoing basis

  • Clean and maintain customer access areas to include front area, restrooms, kitchen, and any other area to Wild Grapes standards

  • Consistently serve all Wild Grapes products to specifications

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products

  • Work pos, prep, clean, cook, smoothies and juice as directed by the manager on duty

  • Execute proper portion control with all ingredients

  • Must be able to operate the cash register/POS

  • Handle cash transactions while adhering to Wild Grapes cash handling policies

  • Knows and effectively executes Wild Grapes promotions

  • Assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing and by sampling products directly to customers

  • Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Do everything possible to ensure that customers are satisfied and have a positive experience.

  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts and flexible hours including weekends & minor holidays

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • High school degree or GED (preferred).

  • Food Handler card provided prior to employment.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Extended periods of standing (4-8 hours).

  • Reaching, bending, and lifting a minimum of 25-50 lbs.

  • Communication Skills

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Multi-Tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
